Traders will get another brief break this week.

While Friday, April 3, is not a federal holiday, the stock market will close in observance of Good Friday. The bond market will close early, at 2 p.m. ET. Both markets will open for business as usual on Monday, April 6, the day after Easter.

That will mark the last trading holiday before the start of the summer season. Bond markets will close early on Friday, May 22, before the following Monday's Memorial Day holiday, on which both stock and bond markets will close.

Several more trading holidays, starting with Juneteenth, are set to follow in 2026.
