It is with great pleasure to be nominated for the Established FinTech of the Year award at the 3rd Annual Canadian FinTech & AI Awards 2017. Joining past recipients who share our mutual commitment to innovation, outstanding leadership and an unimpeachable passion.
Over 600 top leaders in FinTech & AI joined in celebrating Canadian innovation. Honoring and recognize banks, innovators, investors, service and law firms, cybersecurity tech firms, impactors and thought leaders across Canada in the financial technology and artificial intelligence space.
The awards ceremony MC of the night was Geoff Cher from Wildeboer Dellelce LLP, who expressed his excitement towards the future Canadians have in both spaces.
Award presenters included Kevin O’Leary from ABC’s Shark Tank, Jim Treliving from CBC’s Dragon’s Den, Helene Desmarais from the Centre d’Entreprises et d’Innovation de Montréal and Jos Schmitt from Aequitas NEO Exchange Inc. The list of admirable judges included the likes of Presidents, CEO’s, SVP’s and CIO’s at many respected top fortune 500 companies.
ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Canadian FinTech & AI Awards were started in 2015 by the Digital Finance Institute to recognize and celebrate Canadian innovation in financial technology and more recently, in artificial intelligence. The goal of the Awards is to bring together, on an annual basis, Canada’s technology leaders in finance to celebrate each other and support Canadian technology in finance from coast to coast to coast.“We started the Awards to bring the innovation ecosystem together from across Canada in all areas that touch finance to recognize and support Canadian innovation and innovators three years ago, and we are so pleased with the incredible support and growth of the Annual Gala Awards Dinner,” said Christine Duhaime, the founder of the Institute. “It sends a signal that Canada is here to continue to lead in innovation in financial services.”
